Project Paz- Tonight
Tonight should be a night to remember. I am so upset I won't be able to be in NYE for Project Art. I must say I am very proud of my friends Amanda and Paloma Alvarez ( among others ) for having the initiative of trying to promote change and awareness for Juarez, Mexico. Usually when people leave their hometowns , its easy to never look back. But these girls are not only looking back, they are looking forward. And making a difference. Changing the future by empowering the people of Juarez.
Tonight is a night in which Art and Fashion lend a helping hand to Juarez. And with guests such as Michael Bastian, Carolina Herrera, Christian Cota and Amanda Hearst. this will sure be not only a great way to show support to the city of Juarez, but also to have an amazing time.
30 amazing art pieces by renown artists such as Benjamin Hollingsworth, Alvaro Alcocer and Grettel Joffroy will be auctioned off. Fashion couldn't fall behind and amazing designers such as Michael Bastian, Valentino, Lulu Frost, Alexander Wang and Vena Cava donated some pieces for tonight as well.
Now this takes shopping to an unknown territory for me, one where I don't have to feel guilty after spending my months rent in one evening...after all,its shopping for a good cause , right?
