Shiny things Obsession | vajazzling

tush #1

I honestly cant even start to begin to explain what i think its wrong with the whole vajazzling craze.... so im just gonna go back in history for a lil...
i think girls have an odd relationship with all things shiny... when we re young we buy anything shiny, when we are old enough to discovered bedazzled a whole world appears infront of your own lil eyes, and all of a sudden all the possibilities are endless ( beddazzling tsirts, shoes, hair clips, skirts, socks, etc etc....) and pretty much anything with glitter and shiny things re found cool, we dream about our wedding prince charming ( but mostly the wedding , the dress.... or is it the ring?? .. anywho.. the thing is we dream a lot and manage to add some happy glittery dust into everything..... ( i remember i even used to buy glitter glue, which now that i think about it , its quite stupid cus since something always went on top of it none could really see the glitter .. hmmmm )...
anyways... a couple of years later we start experimenting with makeup...of course the nice little boxes for kids make up come all adorned with shiny dust in cute colors....we find we can not only wear glitter on our clothes but in our faces too... brands like urban decay have everything from glittery eyeliner to glittery nail polish.... even better there is actually hair spray with glitter on it... ( ahhhhhhhhh heaven ... or so i thought when i was about 15... true store... sad but true... on my trips to germany as a child... i decided that every time i went out i needed glitter sprayed into my hair... and it didnt only stay there when i came back home, Peru, I decided to do all my friends hair and make u, we looked like a peruvian version of avatar  just that instead of blue skin it was all glitter...now that i think about it.. on our behalf we were in a all girls school... so thats probably why the trend lasted as long as it did... im sure having guys around would have ended it quite sooner.. because as we started to go to parties and seeing mens reactions as we left a trail of glitter wherever we went, it kinda died.....)...
fast forward some time... and i must say thank god i was old enough and i knew better by the time this arrived, rhinestones became quite the "in" thing... Ed Hardy taught us all that men and women alike look HOTNESS by wearing it.. and that just by adding rhinestones to some tattoo graphics , it not only made the piece 5 times more expensive, but it would give u some sort of social status ( NOT )... i am just glad the " shiny things" trend evolution got to hit the straight male species ( as I am sure gay men , discovered glitter way before me.. and manage to find many more ways to wear it that i could ever imagine)
2010 comes around.. new century, fresh start,... VAJAZZLING... I mean i heard it all that our vggs are the gates to heaven, that they re the golden ticket,( the list goes on but I cant really remember any more cheesy terms to refer to my "private parts")...but i just dont see the need to decorating them with crystals whatsoever... i mean what respectable straight man would look at it  and say " ohhh babyyy you are all vajazzled , so sexy... lets get it on..!?"..
unless the man is guy or you are doing it for a lipstick lesbian I really don't see who would appreciate they money and time spent into it..
I understand there is a lot of bored women out there.. but i really thing between , mani/pedi, facials, waxing, dieting, working out, highlights, spa treatments, etc etc etc... we have more than enough... adding something to the list is just stupid.... so do all us a favor and get  hobby or do some charity work... invest your time in something else... thank you very much
