CFDA + Vogue Eyewear

The CFDA has certainly been busy. In their next move to create a brand identity, they've teamed up with Vogue Eyewear to create the "Vogue Eyewear CFDA Capsule Collection", exclusively available at Sunglass Hut. The line has three distinct styles by NYC designers Devi Kroell, Kara Ross, and Matt Murphy. Kroell, who's known for the use of exotic skins, created "Whip," a pair of classic, oversized frames. The ivory snakeskin texture and gold-tone mirrored lenses that would fit right in equally well on a Serengeti safari or on the terrace of the Capri Palace hotel. Kara Ross went for something a little over-the-top with the "Infinity," which echoes her spring '10 collection. Though we heart the tortoise shell, the swirly sides are so our speed. Then there's the "Neo" by Matt Murphy. It's inspired by a race car, which is evident in the sleek curves, jet-black body, and silver racing stripes that give it a kinda Agnelli vibe. All the frames retail for a not-so-bad $129.95, though you may wanna hold onto your cash until you know what the next CFDA product will be.
